Make a choice what is right for a particular person black or white or colour without loosing a feel of authentic ambiences, which are of fundamental importance to our understanding of honest, timeless portrait

I spent years working with Black white printing in a darkroom. It is a very creative environment lit by a red light, where you feel the mysterious images appearing in front of you.

Sadly, it all came to end in my case for various reasons.

Currently I use standard software tools, which are powerful in their options to manipulate an image.

Here is a portrait of Roman Lutosławski, a breakdancer, taken with Digital Single Lens Camera Canon EOS and turned from a colour image into black and white.

I do hope that it retain the initial intensity.

The main warning is not going too far.

Still this is not Artificial Intelligence, which is not my type of creative tool, as it kills any sense of originality which flows from the nature of personal photography.
